Today we are 8 days old.

We eat very good and sleep also like babies. Mum Jadore is proud of us.

Male gold : birth 580 gr. now 1 120 gr.

Female blue : birth 560 gr. now 1 120 gr.

Male silver : birth 470 gr. now 980 gr.

Male green : birth 570 gr. now 1 070 gr.

Female pink : birth 530 gr. now 930 gr.

Male orange : birth 515 gr. now 970 gr.

Female light blue : birth 370 gr. now 670 gr.

Female red : birth 465 gr. now 910 gr.

Male purple : birth 540 gr. now 1 090 gr.

We do it very good, thanks mum.

Here some pictures of us, we change a lot in 1 week.

We open now the eyes, and wat did we see first, our mum and she is so beautiful !

23.00  female pink : 530 gr.

23.10  male orange : 515 gr.

23.25 female light blue : 370 gr.

01.10 female red : 465 gr.

04.35 male purple : 540 gr.

We are 9, 5 males and 4 females, saddly one puppy did not survive the birth, it was a male.

We will ask our aunt Gina to complete our football team because she have reserve players, we miss some.

Sunday 28 oktober Lovaniumtrofee – 1st show for our Ghost Von Leuenfort

It’s the big day for our Ghost, 1st show of his live, 1st time he can show how beautiful he is.
And Ghost did it very good.
It was M Machetanz Peter (Germany) who juged the loenbergers.
Ghost 2nd very promissing in baby class
Konors 1 exc in junior class and best junior
Jetaime 3rd place excellent
We are very proud of all our dogs

You can see that all are taking some weight but this is normal with such a good mother milk. Not always easy to find a place because we have many brothers and sisters

21 oktober 2012, here we are, the L3 litter Lion’s from d’Es

With 18 “eighteen” in the belly of mum. You can imagine how excited it was to try to find the exit. We wanted all to go out togheter to see the wonderful world but unfortunatly for 4 puppies it didn’t happen.
Our mum Golden Honey Amore Cordi (Gina) dit it great and open her maxic box to give birth to 8 females and 6 males.
Our dad Dragon Dzeus de la Legende du Chene is now father from a big big litter.
It’s now full time work, little bit like holiday, during the half is drinking on milkbar, the other half find it fun under the warm lamp.
Like our friend Amigo could say '”Viva la Vista”

Sunday 30 september, international dogshow in Maastricht

News
Our lovely Jetaime and small Lealia came with us and also our Konors was entered for the 1st time.
Judge was from Portugal, Mr J.V. Poças.
Konors coul enter 1st in ring and receive 1st place with excellent
He receive a lovely rapport and congratulations from the judge for his nice head, head of course from his dad Harko.
After it was Lealia in ring and she receive also the 1st place with very promissing and she could go to honor ring for best baby leonberger.
Our Jetaime receive also the 1st place in intermediate class with excellent.
And finally Igloo du Plateau Bavarois, coming dad from one of our litters, showed by Luc, won champion class with excellent

Bienvenidos “Mi Amigo”

News
Saturday 29 september our new baby boy arrive, the spanish Mi Amigo Boy de Leos vom Kvallk.
Mi Amigo is born in Barcelona on 17 july and will be the friend of Ghost.
They change the toys, Ghost change his pig for the bull from Amigo
And Amigo was very happy with the pig of Ghost.
This is the begin of friendship, they do all togheter, sleeping, eating.

We receive the good news by echography taht Golden Honey Amore Cordi (Gina) and Jadore du Plateau Bavarois are pregnant.

We receive the good news by echography taht Golden Honey Amore Cordi (Gina) and Jadore du Plateau Bavarois are pregnant.
We wait now for small “Ginagons” and Jadogloos”.
We hope pregnancy will be ok and now the coming mums receive some extra.
Thanks to Dragon ang Igloo for the good work.
Our female Norse Saga is also on heat en in good days but coming weeks will be very busy so we will wait for her coming heat to be mated

With great honor we present you Harko’s son “Ghost von Leuenfort”

And finally 9 september is there.
Very early in the morning, with our driver Yves, we start our trip to Lemforde in Germany where Ghost and Fee waited for us.
Gute Fee, daughter of Harko and De la Rosa go to live in Belgium at around 10 kms from home by Yves.
Ghost von Leuenfort, son of Harko, will be our new male. The sipit of Harko life over.

Hydro Lions From D'Es, hydrotherapie

WAAROM ZWEMMEN?

Zwemmen met je hond is gewoon leuk maar het is ook heel gezond. Mensen komen naar ons hydrotherapiecenter met honden die last hebben van heupdysplasie, elleboogdysplasie, gescheurde ligamenten, artrose, rugproblemen, spierblessures of overgewicht. Met hydrotherapie kan je je hond op verschillende manieren helpen. De fysieke inspanning op zich is goed voor de gezondheid van je hond, zorgt voor een betere ontwikkeling van de spiermassa en is goed voor de behandeling van pijn bij bv. artrose.

Ook gezonde, opgroeiende honden hebben baat bij hydrotherapie. Het bevordert een evenwichtige opbouw van spieren en gewrichten. Bij oudere honden onderhoudt hydrotherapie de spiermassa zonder zware inspanning en overbelasting. Honden zwemmen van nature... maar niet allemaal! 

Bij sommige rassen is "leren zwemmen" nodig. Hydrotherapie is trouwens veel meer dan zwemmen alleen. Het zorgt voor een perfect hondenleven: niet alleen fysiek maar ook mentaal. Het is ideaal voor een goede socialisatie en trouwens perfect tegen stress bij je hond.

WAT IS HYDROTHERAPIE?

Wij beschikken over een hydrotherapiebak met een vlakke loopband en een hydrotherapiebak met een loopband met een hellingsgraad van 8 tot 30 graden.

De hydrotherapie op zich bestaat uit doelgerichte oefeningen die op een zachte manier in water worden uitgevoerd om op die manier terug spiermassa op te bouwen. Door de beweging in water wordt de aanmaak van gewrichtsvocht gestimuleerd zodat er als het ware een olie-achtige film rond de gewrichten wordt gelegd. De bloedsomloop van je hond wordt ook gestimuleerd door de intensiteit van de oefeningen en de warmte van het water.

Eén hydrotherapiesessie duurt een half uur.

De aanwezigheid van het baasje is heel belangrijk (zeker de eerste keren) om je hond gerust te stellen en hem te stimuleren om de oefeningen op de loopband in het water te doen.
